It’s 2017, yet many employers have not reviewed their drug-free workplace documents since the mid-2000s, if they have a document to convey to their employees their position on substance abuse in the workplace. It has been a busy 10 years and a lot has changed in terms of common drugs of abuse; who uses, who abuses and why; and in methods of testing for illicit substances. In this 60-minute webinar, we will explore the evolution of drug abuse over the past 20 years, discuss why every organization should have a drug-free workplace statement regardless of whether they engage in pre-employment screening or not, and explore new cost-efficient, convenient options for screening to aid in reducing risk and loss.
